The Powers That Be

Chuck Terhark, Owner-Operator

The Charles in charge, Chuck oversees payroll and billing on a weekly basis, as well as facilitating all the big ideas for the company. Co-founded the business with Sean McPherson in 2007.

Brenna Proczko, Executive Vice President

Brenna started as a host in 2015, and slowly took on more and more administrative duties until she could choose her own title and become the first salaried employee. She is the manager for all of admin excepting Editorial, and her proverbial door is always open.

Sean McPherson, Assistant Owner

While no longer actively part of the day-to-day running of the company, Sean co-founded the company with Chuck in 2007 and spent over a decade writing, hustling, recruiting, soliciting, and basically being everywhere to make Trivia Mafia a success.

On-Call Team

For our busiest days of the week, we have staff dedicated to:

  • keep an eye on Slack, email, and texts (maybe even use their phone as a phone) from about 3pm to 9pm every Wednesday
  • field those last-minute questions from hosts about how to get the questions, get logged in, get the mic to work, and how to get a sub. (On-Call staff are not responsible for finding subs for other people!)
  • sometimes run out  to deliver hosts supplies or gear
  • when feasible, pick up last-minute sub shifts
Charles Spolyar, Tuesday On-Call
A host since 2018! Great with spreadsheets, will always stop to pet your dog and ask about your cat.
MYSTERY PERSON, Wednesday On-Call
Marcus Woodard, Thursday On-Call
A host since 2016! Originally from North Dakota, but we don't hold that against him.
