Can I still be a player?

Hosts may play regular trivia or theme events, so if you host on Tuesday and want to play Wednesday, go ahead! If you are a big fan of "The Office," then dress up in your best Angela cardigan and go play! 

The honor system still applies! If you host on a Sunday, you cannot play on Monday, because the D Block of questions is used for both days. Likewise for themes: if you want to play it and host it, just make sure your schedule goes in that order (playing, then hosting).

Trivia Mafia staff are ineligible for participation in our large competitive tournaments. 

This includes all events for which we sell tickets and/or at which there is a notable monetary prize (i.e. the Tournament of Champions). The appearance of a conflict of interest is too great — we trust our staff, but we don't want to put a sour feeling into our players.
